Overview
Pine Computer is not trying to make the model smarter; it is arguing that the computer the model works on is the wrong one. Computer-use agents today loop through screenshot, recognize, click, screenshot again, fighting an interface designed for people at every step. Pine inverts this: the environment tells the model what is on the page, what can be done and what just changed, instead of rebuilding that from pixels each time. Developers create a computer through the SDK when a job needs one, hand over the task and get back files, records and answers. Each one runs in its own sandbox and developers keep their own keys. It is currently in private beta.
Key Features
- Reads pages as structure: Tells the model what is on a page, what actions are available and what changed, rather than reconstructing it from pixels
- Created on demand via SDK: A product spins up a computer through the SDK when needed and receives results when the job finishes, with nothing resident
- Isolated sandboxes: Each Pine Computer runs in its own sandbox and developers retain their own keys
- Human in the loop: A live desktop lets users watch and take over for logins, verification codes or payments
- Parallel workspaces: Each task gets its own browser window, files and tools, so tasks do not interfere
Use Cases
- Products that must work across websites with no API
- Bulk form filling and data collection
- Cross-site price comparison and research summaries
- Chaining download, processing and upload into one flow
- Giving an existing agent a controlled execution environment
Pros
- Understands pages as structure rather than pixels
- Sandbox isolation keeps tasks from interfering
- Takeover is available for verification and payment steps
- Developers only integrate the SDK while Pine runs the environment
- Lower per-task model cost in the published benchmark

Summary
Pine Computer sells the machine the agent works on, not the model. It fits products that need an agent to operate across websites, files and business systems without assembling the browser, sandbox, parallel scheduling and human-takeover pieces themselves. It is in private beta, and the published benchmark shows advantages in checkpoint progress and per-task model cost, while official pricing is still unannounced.
Version History
- Pine Computer launches in private beta (2026-10-10): Pine AI introduced Pine Computer, a cloud computer for developers. A product creates one through the SDK when a job needs it, hands over the task, and the agent works across websites, files and business software before returning the results. The company reports a 78.3% checkpoint score on UniPat AI SaaS-Bench v1.1. It is in private beta with a waitlist at pinecomputer.io.
