Overview
MiniMax Design is a multimodal creative Agent workbench launched by Xiyu Technology on August 20, 2026. Built on the H3 model, it is the first official Harness after H3's open-source release. It transforms model capabilities into commercial creative productivity. Users only need to propose creative requirements, and the Agent can understand goals, break down tasks, and call corresponding models and Skills to complete the entire process of material processing, content generation, editing, and final delivery. The system automatically determines the required text, images, videos, and audio, identifies content to preserve or reference, and converts requirements into executable instructions and materials for H3. Its built-in 3D director's console allows users to place characters in 3D space, adjust poses and camera angles, preview from multiple angles before generating videos, and front-load trial and error.
Key Features
- Full-process automation: From understanding requirements, breaking down tasks to calling models and Skills, it automatically completes material processing, content generation, editing, and delivery without manual intervention in each step.
- 3D director's console: Freely place characters in 3D space, adjust character poses and camera angles, preview shot effects from multiple angles before handing over to H3 for video generation, and put trial and error before generation.
- Intelligent editing and compositing: After video generation, it automatically edits, adds subtitles, and composites complete final videos, reducing post-production workload and improving delivery efficiency.
- Multimodal content understanding: The system can identify content to preserve or reference, determine the required text, images, videos, and audio, and convert requirements into executable instructions and materials for H3.
- Local workflow integration: Supports professional creators already using ComfyUI to integrate local workflows, providing cloud or local operation modes. The Agent can assist in adjusting workflow nodes and generation parameters through dialogue.
- Based on the H3 model: Relying on the H3 model (released on July 31, 2026, with open-source weights on August 3), it supports up to 15 seconds of 2K video and native dual-channel audio, ensuring generation quality.
Use Cases
- E-commerce short videos: Quickly generate product display videos to increase conversion rates.
- Product recommendation videos: Generate multiple versions from a single set of materials, adapting to different platforms and audiences.
- Science education animation: Input courseware and lesson plans, automatically add voiceover and animation, simplifying the production process.
- Promotional videos and music videos: Automatically complete editing, subtitles, and special effects compositing, shortening production cycles.
- Opening effects: Use the 3D director's console to design shots and generate high-quality openings.
